Sorry we're a little late on announcing winners for the Self-Portrait Challenge and the Venice photo walk, but we've been hard at work ramping up some more cool stuff for the site and for the community. We're going to be bringing back some of the challenges to help get all of our creative juices going, both on the walks and here on the site. I know, I know...get to the winners. 

I posted this image on my Facebook page yesterday, and it took on a life of it's own. I have taken this same image at many locations around Southern California, sometimes in places where I understood the reasoning, like at museums and concert venues, and other times, in places I couldn't figure out, like Pinkberry, and Burger King.

I have a confession to make… I have completely dropped the ball with regards to our photography outreach project, LoveFocus. It is not for lack of desire. It is always in the back of my mind. My biggest excuse is that time just marches on and it never seems to happen. I do know, though, that giving back is still a big part of what Faded & Blurred would like to do. We don't want it to be all about the photo walks. We want to make a difference in our community.
