I’m not sure if this is dedication to your art and the ultimate in creativity or just someone with mental health issues. Bryan Lewis Saunders says he “devised another experiment where everyday I took a different drug and drew myself under the influence.” Each portrait reveals in a detailed way how the drug affected his mind and motor skills. He says, “Within weeks I became lethargic and suffered mild brain damage,” he says. “I am still conducting this experiment but over greater lapses of time. I only take drugs that are given to me.” [via Flavorwire]
