Tych Panel

One of our favorite blogs to read is the blog of John Nack. For those of you unfamiliar with him, John is the Principal Product Manager at Adobe and is constantly posting the most interesting articles on his blog. The other day, John posted a link to a super-cool extension for Photoshop by Reimund Trost called Tych Panel and we wanted to share it with you. This free extension makes creating diptychs, triptychs and a variety of multi-image layouts ridiculously simple. Select your images, select a layout and boom…seconds later, there it is. You can even keep adding images to the initial layout without starting over. There are options for setting spacing between images, preserving aspect ratio and setting an overall image size. Another great little feature is that the gutters are created as separate layers from the images. This allows you to easily change the color from the default white or even delete them entirely if you prefer transparency. This is a fantastic extension for creating tear sheets, promo cards or multi-image panels for your website of blog. We’ve put together a little demo video, so you can see just how simple it is. After you watch it, why not download it for yourself and let us know what you think.
