Stop me if you’ve heard this one…so, this Russian girl sneaks into a rocket factory to take some photos. Funny thing is, this is no joke, especially to the Russian government. Amateur photographer Lana Sator has taken urban exploration to a new level by sneaking into a strategic military rocket motor factory outside Moscow and posting the photos online. Here’s the kicker…the factory is still very much in operation, making, among other things, liquid-fueled rockets. The entire place looks like something straight out of Stalker or Blade Runner. Supposedly, Lana gained entry by hopping a fence and making her way through a series of pipes and tunnels. Be sure to check Lana’s Livejournal account (all in Russian, of course) for more photos, including scans of threatening letters sent to her from the Russian government, instructing her to “not make [her] situation worse” by continuing to post photos. Awesome. Thanks to Randy Kepple for the link.
