Photo LA is the longest running art fair west of New York and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It is the largest photo-based art fair in the country and will be returning this month to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. This art fair is not to be missed if you are anywhere in the Los Angeles Area.
The show will run from Thursday, January 13, through Monday, January 17th. It will bring together photography dealers from all over the world with displays of the best contemporary photography, video and multi-media installations, along with classic works from the 19th and 20th century. There will also be offsite exhibits, events, seminars, portfolio reviews and discussions. Tickets are pretty inexpensive at only $20 per day or $30 for all four days. Of course, there is an extra cost for the seminars and the opening reception, but these are reasonable as well. You can get your tickets at Eventbrite.
