It’s that time of year when a lot of us start to think about Halloween costumes, fall decorating, and how creative we can get with our pumpkin carving. I always try to do something different than the normal jack-o-lantern, which can seem kind of boring. One year my son did a great version of Calvin and Hobbes, but I don’t think any one of us can come close to the outrageous carved pumpkins of Ray Villafane. A professional toy sculptor, Villafane has made pumpkin carving a hobby, and has also recently gone on to sand sculpting. A few weeks ago I posted some of his incredible pumpkins from last year, but I came across some of his more recent work that is even more amazing.
