F&B On The Road: Monterey
Nikki and I took to the road to explore one of California’s many picturesque coastal towns, the charming Monterey. Actually, if you want to be technical, we stayed in neighboring Pacific Grove, but it’s all part of the Monterey peninsula. It was the perfect getaway to not only take in the sites of this wonderful area, but also to serve as the perfect backdrop for planning out some of the things we’re working for Faded & Blurred in 2011.
We stayed in a quaint bed & breakfast, built in 1887, called The Centrella Inn. It was my first time in a B&B and it couldn’t have been better. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are both friendly and helpful. The breakfast of Belgian waffles along with feta, mushroom and sausage quiche didn’t hurt either.
