Marking The End Of Summer

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here we are on the last day of the last official weekend of summer. Hard to believe it’s over and Labor Day weekend is here. Although I realize not everyone who reads this blog is from the states, it is still the end of a season. The end of school breaks, the end of warmer weather (at least in the Northern Hemisphere), the end of long, lazy days. I thought we would mark it by sharing some of our favorite summer images from 500px. Was there anything this summer that stood out for you as remarkable? Any unforgettable vacations taken? What is your favorite part about the summer months? Personally, although I don’t like the heat, I do love the extra hours of daylight to be able to get out and shoot. There wasn’t a lot of that happening this summer, though, as our summer was filled with ice cream – making it, tasting it, photographing it, and writing about it. You’d think we’d be sick of it by now, but who can get sick of ice cream? We actually went to the store the other day and bought some. Both of us decided it wasn’t nearly as good as homemade, but ice cream is like pizza – even if it’s bad, you’ll still eat it. If you haven’t seen chill yet, it’s not too late, there will be plenty of warm days left to enjoy it. At only $5, it’s really a bargain, and, by purchasing it, you’re helping to support Faded + Blurred.

Amazing shots!!.. and Chill.. well, I’m blown away.. Great job on this book. The proof is in the pudding (or in this case, the ice cream) Everything I tasted from it was crazy good and really original in it’s favors. Beautifully written and photographed too. You have a total winner there!
